Systems Design

Selling product is one thing but the ability to design and manufacture fluid power systems is where the rubber hits the road. We have extensive experience both in-house and via support with Parker Hannifin and other groups to ensure an optimum solution to your fluid power problem.

In the past GRA has designed Hydraulic systems for Dredges, Plate Rolls, Ore Feeders and Mill Lubrication systems for the Mining and other Industries.

With the Silver, Lead and Zinc Mining and the Mineral Sands region to our South it's to be expected that we have had and continue to have involvement in this sector. Over the years our involvement has been from such diverse fields as Underground Loading Stations, Feeders, Rock Breakers, Mill Lubrication, and product drying processes to 1500 hp Bucket Wheel Dredges.

Services we offer the Mining Industry:

  1. Design of large drives ranging from Winching Systems, Pumping systems to Feeder Drives
  2. One stop sourcing of all hydraulic spares. We have extremely good purchasing power with most manufacturers and contacts within the industry that will save you time and give your supply department greater leverage. We can also provide you with assistance in reducing your inventory levels of hydraulic equipment.
  3. Training of site personnel in all aspects of hydraulic equipment.
  4. Auditing of hydraulic equipment including recommendations on spares holdings. Maintenance schedules.
  5. Creation of Maintenance Manuals and drafting of Hydraulic Schematics for new and old installations to assist maintenance.

We understand the importance and value of maintaining high-performance equipment, and have hydraulic service and repair centers operating at our base in Broken Hill.

Our fully equipped and modern workshop caters for in-house repairs and testing of a large range of hydraulic equipment.
